Our problem solving day this half term, worked on finding many combinations.  The whole school's problem centred around finding different combinations for necklaces using a set number of beads.  Our problem solving days, give children an opportunity to choose how they would like to investigate,whether working collaboratively or independently; use resources; record in different ways; investigate a problem in depth over a longer period of time and to reflect on mathematical strategies.
